I have a friend named Liz. I kid you not when I say she is the sweetest, gentlest person I have ever met. Liz and her husband, Rick, have faced the struggle of infertility for a few years. They would love nothing more than to start their family. They have made the decision to be part of the miracle of adoption. Please, take a moment and read about Rick and Liz, and keep them in your thoughts. There are so many babies that need good homes, but placing them is not always easy. If you know of a woman who is thinking about placing her baby for adoption, or doesn't quite know what to do, please give her our web address. You can also direct her to the LDS Family Services website. The website offers great information about all her options, about getting in contact with a counselor, and experiences of other women.
Also we have an agency we are working with directly. Our case worker's name is Eric Larson. He can be contacted at (972) 242-2182. He has been helpful to us and you can direct any one you know that are interested in contacting our family reguarding adoption to him. You can also give out the email account we have set up specifically for adoption. It is lifewithral@gmail.com. We have had so many blessings come to us in our almost four years of marriage. Many of them involve having all of you be a part of our lives. We appreciate all the love and support we have felt from you and look forward to sharing with you the many more blessings the Lord has in store for us. My toddler does the dishes!!

Now don't go crying "child labor! child labor!". I have tried for SO LONG to keep my little guy out of the kitchen while I'm doing the dishes, but tonight I just decided to embrace it! He couldn't reach the top rack of the dishwasher but he handed me every dish from the bottom rack for me to put away! He got all the plates, the big bowl I had down there, and all the cutlery! And he didn't drop a single one; he was very careful. Then I tried to give him the boot so I could load the dirties, but nope, not havin' it. So, he made his best attempt at putting the plates and cutlery that I handed him in the bottom rack. It was so funny, I should have taken a picture. He did ok on the silverware, but the plates were a little different. He laid them all flat on TOP of the dividers. Hysterical! "E" for effort, Landon! Kudos to my sweet boy.

I guess it's time.

My mom has been practically begging me for the go-ahead to spill the beans at church. I finally gave it to her yesterday, which means it won't be long before the entire universe knows. I may as well blog about it!

I'm pregnant! I'm currently 9 1/2 weeks and due Sept. 3rd. Please, if you see me, don't ask me how I feel for another few weeks. My current state of "feel" is CRAP.
